Consulting is
largely a knowledge-based activity. We have approximately 175 years
of clinical experience in our group. Our consultants are supervised
by three doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analysts. By
working with one of our staff on-line you will find the staff member
has instant access to supervision, other consultants (e.g. for quick
second opinions), and our whole range of computerized resources and
materials.
We offer
web-based services for working with children and adults with Autism
Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum
Disorder, brain injury, dementia and related neurological disorders.
We can provide
training as well as consulting services on an individualized basis
to fit your particular needs.

Software needs

There is
no need for you to download ANYTHING to your computer. The
interactions are completely web-based and you simply login
to an address that will be provided to you upon initiation
of consultation services. It will be just like visiting a
web-site, but you’ll be interacting in real time with a real
person with behavioral expertise. |

|
Sometimes
file sharing is necessary for this process (e.g., sharing
data sheets, reports, etc.). You will need either Microsoft
office (Word, Excel etc) or OpenOffice. OpenOffice is a
free
download from Sun Microsystems. |
Computer skills
|
|
You will
need to know the basic functions of your computer (e.g. open
programs and files; cut/paste information, have basic typing
skills and know how to operate your mouse). |

|
You or
someone you know will need to be able to make sure that your
audio hardware (headset or speaker/conference mic) is
installed properly and working. |
|
|
You or
someone you know will need to be able to make sure that your
visual hardware (e.g. webcam) is installed properly and
working. |
